Sorry about that chap, it is a fairly old board and you should get a bit of use out of it. :)
Sorry about that chap, it is a fairly old board and you should get a bit of use out of it. :)
It doesn't edit videos well so like to see it playing games anyway I guess I can get 3-6 months out of it then I upgrade to a ddr3 board that can easily play any game and video edit.
Also should ask
Why would MSI bother refurbishing an old board? :/
There is a lot better boards out there
I suspect no one refurbishes a board beyond trying a new BIOS chip and testing it. That would be only on current board too.
They would of had to do something to make it more update to date
Also guess its away for them to make money.
Forget it I'm going to go without a desktop for a few months, The piece of crap lags on video recording fells more then a laptop then a desktop....
How much do you think it's worth if I sold it including the gaming case.
If you need pictures let me know.
You would have to list it on some sale site in Queensland. Things are worth nothing until sold.
What I do when using a selling site is this: Computer for sale $xxx OBO, OBO means Or Best Offer.
Still debating if I should sell it I'm also trying to keep my channel running at the same time..
Thanks for the advice
If I do end up selling it I will do that
It says here that Pentium is good and my old Pentium did video editing alright (designed for a newer socket though) and my socket type is only a few generations old.

Would buying ä real graphics card fix the lag? I'm using the 128mb on board which could be putting strain on the CPU.
I got 2gb of ram that should be enough.
So far from what i'm reading it shouldn't be the cpu the lag is more gpu releated.
Why else would msi still support this board with today's software
MSI Global - Computer, Laptop, Notebook, Desktop, Motherboard, Graphics and more
Windows 7 is on the support list and the latest vga driver is from this year (2014)
So they wrote or uploaded a new driver this year.
