    quasar power supply


    who had experience with this power supply quasar 700w
    +12v w/ 26 amp
    +5v w/ 48 amp
    +3.3v w/ 40 amp

    i know that this is a generic psu, but do you think its safe to install a 30watt vcard the sapphire R7-240 1gb gddr5
    should it work stable



    system spec:
    biostar h61mgv3
    intel pentium g2020
    2gb ddr3 1333
    seagate 80gb sata

    Graphics Cards - R7240-2GD3-L - ASUS
    This says 75W, but you PSU should be fine for it, you'll have up to 312 watts available.

    The R7-240 is a lower end card, so yes it should be stable. As I said the card needs 75W, you PSU has 312W @ 12V.

    A good 700W PSU would have 52A @ 12V, why is yours only 26A?

    isnt the 700 watts divided to various volts like 12v, 5v, 3.3v composed of amps. my only doubt is that my psu is a generic one.

    i think i should upgrade my psu later the corsair vs450 can reach my budget. is it a good one

    Yes, the label on the PSU should tell what is available for each voltage, however the 12V will have the most.
    I agree on getting a good Corsair and it should run your system well.
