USB Composite device not recognized by my computer

    Hi,
I have a new USB device I bought to play some music.
At first I connected it to my computer, and drivers were automatically installed. The device is shown is Device Manager as a USB Composite device.
By now I've been trying to delete the device and install it again, create a new letter to the device (in My Computer properties) - none has helped.
    Does anyone have any idea?

Plug it in, then go to the Device Manager. If its still recognized, RIGHT click on the entry for the device and then LEFT click "Uninstall". Unplug the device from the PC. Restart the PC and after Windows starts, plug it it and Windows will detect it as a new device and install it.

It won't do any good to create a new letter for the device. When you disconnect it, the next time its connected Windows will assign a letter to it, which will not be the one you assigned.

Also, when you disconnect it, FIRST use the "Safely Remove Hardware" function (icon in notification area) BEFORE you disconnect it. If you just unplug it after you are done using it, the Windows status can become corrupted and the next time you try to use it, Windows will not recognize it (It will be listed as an Unknown Device in the USB section of the Device Manager). If this happens, you will have to go through the uninstall/reinstall procedure that I listed in my first paragraph.
