I have nothing against that, if the mods agree. but pelase keep in mind I have already tried your earlier suggestion and it did not work, unfortunately.

    Than keep trying.

I have 2 such cams running separately as mentioned earlier flawlessly.

    Good Luck!

Thank you. I am starting to think the problem is with the fac t that my sistem is 64-bit. It seems many people that have problems with Logitech webcams are all, or msotly all, sporting x-64 versions.

I had that in mind, didn't you install the 64 bit Logitech cam software?

    V-U0026

Auto detect indicates that you are running:
    Windows 7 (32-bit)

    V-U0017

Auto detect indicates that you are running:
    Windows 7 (32-bit)

When you click on Downloads it auto detects your OS 32 or 64 bit and accordingly displays the correct cam software/drivers.

I know, mate, I got the 64 bit version from the beginning, no problem there. logitech seems to think there is nothing wrong with the 64 bit version, but either there is a problem on my end or there is a problem on their 64 bit drivers and they just refuse to acknowledge it.

i'm running out of ideas here.
