Is it possible to have 4GB RAM in Win7 Starter?

I want to get 4GB RAM soon but it seems Starter is limited to 2GB. Any way to use 4GB?

The 2 GB RAM limit in Windows 7 Starter is a licensing limit. Any method of circumventing this would be a violation of Microsoft's EULA and I will not discuss it.

Won't work --

That is a lot of time wasted.......microsoft did not just randomly decide to limit ram. 32 bit can only handle 4 gigs because it is 2^32 (2 to the 32nd power) = 4,294,967,295 which is 4 gigs. So if you want to use more than 4 gigs of ram, just get 64 bit. The limit for 64 bit is 192 gigs so have at it!

Half those Youtube Vids are a waste of time, much like this one.

One guy tried to folow a Vid that said you could increase your speed, until the OP admitted it was a joke. - Not for the people who tried it!!:eek:

messagetyper people have been trying to do this for years without any luck.
Using one of these videos all they end up with is a screwed up computer and a bunch of infections.

Like LMiller I do believe it against Microsoft's EULA and of course we don't want to go there.
