Please help! Issues with Windows 7 Home Premium x64 Screen Indicators

I am in need of help. I have tried everything possible to fix this issue, but I still have not found any solution yet. I have asked Microsoft and Acer, and they both couldn't help me with this simple little issue that probably will not take 30 minutes to fix. When my caps lock key, number lock key, or when I am adjusting my screen brightness or volume, a little box would show up to tell me. All of a sudden, they have just stopped. Can someone please tell me how to get the indicators of the boxes to start working again with some easy simple steps on how to do it. Please!

Hi Welcome to Seven Forums .. I take it you are referring to your Function key Software .. Do you have the Launch Manager Installed ? ....

Yes, I guess that is what it is. I thought I did when I first got it, but I don't know what happened to it. I tried reinstalling the launch manager, but I really don't know how. When I opened the file on my computer, a bunch of files and folders were in the file. But, I didn't know what to do.

Based on the Information you gave me you either have the Acer 5253 or 5350 .... Look at the different specs for each one and Download the Launch Manager and Run the Setup file ..

Do I open the file with all of the folders on in it, or do I double click to run the software. I have tried running the software by double clicking, but it didn't work. Either that, or I didn't know what I was doing.

Okay. It's rebooting now to finish the installation.
