Ethernet cables and heat? a personal ponder!!

im currently 20ft up a ladder (sweating my bits off) networking a super dooper old building!
Now as I run like 50m of ethernet cables I had a curious thought, my only logical place to run the cables is along the exposed hot water pipes amd was just wondering if heat could contribute to signal loss or gain.

not that it matter as im doing the job regardless! specially as it means no conduit!!!! yay easy day!

Temperature effects on CAT 5 Cable I had this thought when installing my cable along side pipes that go to my radiator. This link is about CAT5 so if your cable is cat6 which Is better it should be fine. Enjoy your easy day!
