    BSOD in ASUS x550C loading WIN 7 64bits


    I tried to install Windows 7 Ultimate x64 in ASUS x550C.

    The process of installation that include the whole process of installation of drivers, name of machine and other options was ok but when starts loading OS for the first time, the notebook returns the error that you see in attachments.

    *Everything it's okay if i tried to install Windows 7 Ultimate x86 or Windows 8 Enterprise x86 and x64.

    You need to flash your BIOS to an ACPI compliant version. The current BIOS version on that system isn't compatible with the version of Windows that you're attempting to install.
