I've never used Mushkin ram, but I've heard good things about their ram and their customer service. I have used a couple of their other products though.

Thank you Steve and Bryan. I will look into Mushkin.
Still can't start a thread on the G.Skill Forum even though I can log in.
They must have some sort of waiting period.

Why don't you email them back challenging their finding? Push mack and insist that the problem is theirs to fix. You may be surprised.

I just looked at that forum for the first time. I see "Welcome to our newest member, Layback Bear".

So, I'll be following your saga there as I will be in the market for DDR4 in the not too distant future.

A suggestion for the future Jack: take photos.
I never send in an RMA without photos and copies of everything.

I agree with the suggestion to push back. It's BS, you know it, you just need to get above the bozo who dropped the module unpacking it.

Well they finally let me post.
Seems they were worried I might be a spammer.
    We will see what happened.
    ---------------------------------

I have been looking at some Mushkin ram but I cant seem to find any in a 32 gig package that states DDR3 Quad Channel or Dual/Quad channel.

I could live quiet well with 16 gb. I will check it out later. Really no hurry things are working just fine. Waiting for parts for my other computer. Hopefully the middle of next week they will be here.

Another reason I will wait before doing any more looking is while looking I found a keyboard that I just couldn't pass up. So I ordered one.

DAS keyboard 4 Professional Cherry MX Blue.

Das Keyboard 4 Professional Keyboard - Cherry MX Blue Products Model: DASK4MKPROCLI [DASK4MKPROCLI] : Performance-PCs.com, ... sleeve it and they will come

Boy, and I thought I paid a lot for Gaming Keyboards. I have heard Das is pretty good. I still don't know about the key colors. Each color has a different feel and sound. I've been tempted to try a mechanical keyboard, but haven't so far. I hope Smarteyeball doesn't see this post, he will be on me to get one. LOL.

As far as the Mushkin Ram, try calling tech support and they can tell you. I hear they are excellent.

Well it's really not advertised as a gaming board. I glad it isn't because that would be another $50.00 for the word gaming.

Another feature I liked was the 6 1/2 ft usb cord. Most boards don't tell you the length or they are so short the tower with all the fans would have to sit on top of your desk for the cable to reach. Sure do hope I like it.

Very nice keyboard. I prefer mine to be backlit, but I could learn to love one of those Das 'boards just the same.

And like essenbe said, contact Mushkin support about that dual/quad channel thing. I'm sure they'll be able to help.
