cant see the the bluetooth icon anywhere in the control panel

    cant see the the bluetooth icon anywhere in the control panel


    hey ..i got a bluetooth dongle plugged it in ......shows under devices and printer in the control panel .....as device working properly and it says bluetooth radio in the categories ...the dongle also has a light blinking ......but i cant seem to find the bluetooth settings or bluetooth icon anywhere in the control panel or the device manager ....some help please ....thanks .

    As far as I know their is no bluetooth settings.
    It's either working or it is not working.
    You can go into the hardware that uses that bluetooth and change settings for that hardware.

    I use a mouse and keyboard bluetooth and I can go into the programs to set the mouse and keyboard but nothing with the bluetooth.

    What are trying to or want to set in bluetooth.

    im trying to connect a bluetooth headset that works fine with my mobile phone .....but when i connect the dongle ....it shows up in devices and printers at the control panel ....but not in the device manager ....also i cant detect it through my cell phone ....the invisibilty for the bluetooth dongle must be on... to change that i need to go to bluetooth settings ....i cant seem to find that anywhere ...not in the control panel , device manager or when i search in the start menu ....

    Click the Start button and enter the word "Bluetooth" in the search bar. The option you look for will be presented shortly. Hoping to have helped.
