Windows 7: When detecting WD HHD W7 asks "Do you want to scan and fix My Book"?

W7 Error-checking results

After the extended WD run and passed, I kept getting error when I went to disk properties on explorer & W7 wanting me to allow it to fix them, so I went "what the heck, I'll do it". I didn't know that this action was the same as running diskcheck (*blushes*).
Windows munched on the disk for while and gave me these errors:
I pasting here the result log in two separate capture images because it was pretty long. Can you guys tell from the logs what was wrong, and -more importantly- should I trust this drive now to be in good shape?

Thank you!!

Here's what it looks like to my non-expert eye:

The WD tool didn't find anything it couldn't fix. It may not have found any physical defects at all since it did not say so on-screen when it finished.

That would agree with what chkdsk appears to have found---just errors in your file system and orphaned files, which it seems to have corrected also.

Chkdsk mentions a bunch of jpgs in your screen shots. Have you verified that those particular jpgs are intact and appear normal?

Have you looked at the SMART data for the drive after you ran the WD tool and chkdsk? Anything odd, like bad sectors?

I don't know what caused this, but I'd tentatively think you are OK--monitor with SMART and see if that pop-up reoccurs. It looks like the drive may have been disconnected or interrupted while it was writing.

Thank so much for your help!
So far the drive has not giving me the "morning error" for a few days. YAY!!

I'll figure how to run the SMART software and see what it thinks about my drive. That is different from the WD's Data Lifeguard, correct?

I'll check the jpegs also.

Thanks again!
