Laptop Specific Keys J K L ; and Enter are Dead

    HP Pavilion dv7-6b32us Entertainment laptop.
Intel Core i7, Windows 7 Home Edition 64 bit, IE 9

Keyboard fine in morning. In afternoon the following keys were dead: J K L ; and enter.
They do work on USB keyboard.
I've run Spybot and Avast. No problems
Checked drivers. Have most recent. Unstalled drivers and rebooted.
    Cleaned under these keys.
The enter key next to number pad does work.
I'm not an expert computer person but am open to any potential fix that I can accomplish.

Boot to advanced boot options->repair computer->command prompt (or any option where you can type). Do J K L work there?

The ; : key is dead.
The ' " key works normally.

It sounds like one of the keyboard scan lines isn't working, which is a hardware failure.

I would recommend taking the laptop to a repair shop for this one. This is likely not something you could fix.

    No they do not.
Then it's a keyboard hardware error
