How to undo a partition

I don't see a picture if you intended to post one.

You may be able to extend any existing partitions, but we need the picture to see where you are now.

Generally, you can delete any partition you care to if it's just an external data drive without Windows. You'd lose whatever is on the partition if you did that, but you may be able to extend it instead.

It's best to have data backed up regardless any time you start fiddling with partitions.

What's the advertised size of the entire drive and what's the size of this too small partition you made?

I don't know why you do not see the picture I apologize for that. The total size of my hard drive is 931 GB usable space and the partition I made in it which is way to small to begin with and in the wrong drive is 99 MB. And the hard drive in question is packed full of stuff. The only way I know of doing it is formatting it and that means loosing the information on it or I need to back it up on another hard drive first. I just wanted to know if anyone knew of another way of doing it by not formatting it just deleting the 99MB and adding it back into my hard drive. I will install my image a different way to see if you can see it. Thank you for your reply, but it seems like I will have to back up all the info on the drive and reformat it all.

Just right click on the 99MB partition and Delete Volume. You may heve to right click again on it and Delete Partition.

I seen the delete option under the partition I created but after I delete it I don't see that it puts that 99MB back into my L drive. The total size stays the same. Unless the size it shows for my L drive includes that 99 MB I don't know. Also after deleting it you would think that after re-starting computer and click back into computer management that the 99MB unallocated space would not be there. But I will play around with the ideas that has been giving to me and see what I come up with. I appreciate all the help. Thank you very much.
