    is this good memory for my pc?

    cached-4053mb
    total-7666mb
    installed-8192
    also
    standby-4014mb
    free-896mb
    all of this goes up and down sometimes is this good? do i need to delete some stuff?

    Your ram looks fine. Deleting stuff won't do anything to your ram. You can have millions of programs on your computer and it wouldn't matter. What matters is running those programs. When you are running multiple programs at once, thats when ram kicks in. It will go up and down all the time, this is normal.

    What is RAM? (Random Access Memory, Main Memory)

    No, that download will take away from your storage which would be your Hard Drive. Memory (ram) and storage (hard drive) are totally different things. You only worry about ram when you open a program and run it. Think of ram as multitasking with OPEN software/programs and think of your hard drive as the place you save those programs (downloading programs/files, installing software, saving files).
