No Drivers for DVD drive Did OS usb install follwing catastrophicwipe

Okay, ready? First time post....er here- hi. Okay, I download, foolishly, alot of freeware and test it for compatibility and someone might have used my computerto visit Pirate Bay a thousand times so I do frequent disk wipes using UCBD. Yes, that all should have been sandbxed- oops. Moving on. Anyway, after I did this wipe, 2 passes. I initially had no video so pulled CMOS battery, mamory, and video card and finally got video the next day and got the insert boot media or select the yada, yada, yada thing so I couldn't boot from my DVD drive as usual. Fine. I made a USB bootable copy using the Win7 USB tool thing and might not have done this correctly because I ended up just copying the windows disk probably line for line off a P.O.S. laptop that the dvd drive kept stopping and took forever. Got that done, and loaded it but also lost my MOBO drivers disk which has nothing to do with the DVD drive anyway but once I got into it I see no DVD drive and it's not regisering in Dev Mgr. I'm also trying to peice together a complete set of MOBO drivers and MSI acts like they never made that board and I can't even find everything that was on that disk on the same planet let alone the same page so that's a bitch too. Sorry for the onandonandon but I know you guys like complete info... I hope.
The thing is- how do I get those DVD drivers back into the reg, which is hieroglyphics to me and if someone else may know also know- where I can get the complete set of MSI, Realtek and Nvidea, etc. drivers that came with my MOBO?
I'm sure I left something out but if it makes you feel better I do feel bad and that I might owe someone a bottle of Visene for my being so long winded but will be eternally grateful for any and all assistance in this matter. Oh, btw, it's a Memorex MRX-550L SATA DVD Drive, and no, I don't start out with my system using all 3 HDs, just the one carrying the OS and also the Video card ended up being bad all of a sudden, 3 years later so I replaced it with a cheapy for now
    Okay, that's it
