    COPROCESSOR problem

I have a mic made by logitech that has no drivers because it says it's built into the OS. I have tried downloading drivers and updating things. The thing says it could not install coprocessor. I have a dell studio 1440 (i think) please help me!

That dell studio 1440 is a Notebook, if it has a Webcam it also has a microphone. Did you try going to Product Support | Dell US, put in the Service Tag number [on a label on the bottom or in the battery compartment] and check for drivers?

And you'll pardon me on this but a coprocessor was a Math Co-Processor, a second chip on a motherboard back in the 80386 days, mine was in '92, an AMD 386-40MHz. When the 80486 came out some had it [80486-xx/DX] and some didn't [80486-xx/SX]. I wonder if it's not looking for a Codex?
