G15 (blue backlight) and "sleep" after last tuesday-patch, problem

    Greetings.
After last tuesday-patching, my G15 Logitech keyboard will not start the software to the screen and the macro-keys after win goes to sleep.
AFAIK nothing has changed in my settings, or in the G15 software OR in the patch arriving from MS. So I have no clue whatsoever to where to look for an error.
    Can somebody guide me, please?

I have a G15, and sometimes it won't load the profiles after the PC has woken up from sleep. I don't think it has anything to do with the patch, it's just an idiosyncrasy of the G15 itself.

Try pressing the "profile mode" key by the LCD (leftmost button), It should rotate through your G15 apps and settle on your profiles if you press it enough. It seems to load the profile then. Mine's always done this, even before Tuesday's patch.

I don't know why, but that works for me.

That does not work as the LCD only shows the Logitech logo. No apps is showing, mine or the defaults, and not even the default setting on the macrokeys works. My only solution so far is to kill the logitech-gaming software and then start it again.
I have checked services, no change from "not working" to "working", and I have also checked running programs to se if there was a difference. But no, everything seems the same, but the software is not working.
    My LGS version is 8.55.137.0

In the installfolder is a program called "restartLcore.exe", but that can not help me with this error. Any other ideas?

My LGS version is 8.50.281 I wonder if that makes a difference? Like I said, mine does the same thing, I get the Logitech logo but I don't lose my macro keys. If I want the apps back I have to push the profile switch button until I get the app I want.

I had a similar problem to you with an earlier version of LGS, but the version I have seems to have fixed it. Maybe you should try downgrading?

I have now downgraded to same version as you, but the problem is still the same.

My G15 acts like the software is not running at all, but it is, and when maxing the software I can see my profile, the apps to the LCD, and every thing there seems okay, but nothing works at the keyboard. Close the software and start it again, and it works fine, but it is annoying. For a long time it worked fine, but now I can't get the function to work again after a sleep or hibernation.

    Any other ideas?

Well, I've been looking into this and found nothing so far, but I'm still trying. I'm hoping one of the other members will see this and chime in with some help, if not a solution.

EDIT: Question. Do your USB ports stay on during sleep? Mine do. Maybe that's the difference. My keyboard goes dark during sleep, but other USB devices stay on. I have the computer set in BIOS to wake on USB (mouse, keyboard...)

My USB ports goes off power. As I use "Intel Rapid Start" all power to the PC is off when in sleep-mode.
The keyboard acts just like I had closed the "Logitech gaming software" down, allthough the porgram is indeed running.
