    guess my routers the problem when it comes to link speed. seems the new D-link adapter isnt any better..

    the TP-Link so far has kept connection on the 3.0 ports (along with different cable), as lve stated previous considering its supposed to be capable of up to 150mbps wireless link lm only getting 65mbps link, the new D-Link l ordered (linked in previous posts) only achieves 7mbps more than the TP-Link one does (72mbps) and they are rated the same speed...

    Can you get a new Router from Sky .. I know they charge if the Router is over 12 Months old .. And it does seem you have to use their Router as no other will work ...

    l cant find any information.. l know their new hardware is a combined modem/router but that would be kinda annoying as it would render my network cable useless and mean potential speed loss if l used whatever other type of cable it requires as l would expect ld need a new one to keep my router close.

    From what i have read most people say the Wireless is better than the Lan connection ... That should never be the case .. Also it would seem that their new Router is no better than the ole one ...

    speaking to sky now, tho it seems so far they are clueless.. rep has gone off to chat with someone else for more information.

    No surprise there ... Was looking at their Booster box of course that would be no help to you .. I do know a Member on here that uses Sky also ... Will have a word when they come online and see how it is working for them ...

    l happen to have a booster box as well lol, they were giving them away for free a while back so l grabbed myself one just because they were offering them for free at the time.

    Yes they are 20 Pounds now .. I would not tend to use it though unless you really need to .. As they do cut down the Bandwith ...

    suffice to say lve come away from the call with no more idea than l went in with... they couldnt answer any of the questions..
