Will have a look over the weekend and see what i can find ... True its best not to mix Ram so a nice matched pair is what you need ...

the main annoyance l found is all the 16gb+ kits are over 100!! and lm not exactly made of money lol without some of the extras l got l could have done a complete upgrade for what some sets cost

l just dont get why memory past 8gb cost so much managed to get my current set for around £50, but for a 16gb kit it went up to £150+ which made no sense!!

on a unrelated note, that weird memory leak with the NSI service turns out my laptop had the same issue!! after a while it would get sluggish tho ld never paid attention to it based on the fact l was never online with it long enough to notice, but it seems today (ld been running some drive tests overnight on a few drives) l noticed that it was doing something similar.

yeah ran the fix.. that said memory is one thing my laptop is lacking in.. in fact it was bsodding for a while until a reinstall (1 reinstalls ago as l tend to reinstall yearly) tho l did notice one thing annoying.. my laptop has 2 different sticks, they are unmatched and of different brands which is annoying l would have made a complaint if ld still been in warranty, would love to get 8gb in it since 4gb is kinda too little lol.

the laptop is a Packard Bell Easynote TJ68, and lm not entirely sure but l believe its 200-pin SODIMM DDR2 PC2-5300 667MHz (just copying from a google search lol), l tell you tho one annoying part about this laptop is that l used to use the onboard web cam allot but the day my warranty ran out the ruddy cam stopped working meaning l had to get a usb one.

lve no idea, lve not seen anywhere it says 4gb max.. after all technically you can throw as much as you like at a 64bit OS (within reason of course).
