    USB Cable Drop Resistance

Are USB cables and Micro USB cables drop resistant? Should I be careful not to drop them as I occasionally drop them on accident. Thank you guys for helping.

If they weren't drop resistant, mine would be ruined before I ever used them. I can be such a klutz!

Those cables are pretty tough. About the only way you can wreck one is to repeatedly flex it at the connector (like 100+ times) and break the little wires inside, or to whip it against something hard and damage the metal connector end.

Dropping it isn't going to hurt it in the slightest.

True that. I've had only one USB cable fail in my life and it wasn't abused. Sometimes, things just break. In general, USB cables are pretty darned durable.

Ok, thank you guys. I was beginning to worry since I'm dropping them more often than usual.
Edit: Well, I did once break a cable once for my tablet because of stretching it too much.
