Is this what you have for your bigger stick now? Teamgroup-Memory Modules,Memory Cards,USB Flash Drives,Solid State Drivers,External Hard Drives,,Power Banks,Wirless Products - Memory Function If it is then this TeamGroup RAM DDR3 4GB DIMM 1600MHz BULK - ?????? RAM is the same stick model and timings and if you get hat you should be able to put both in your mobo then in the bios tell it to use 1333. they will be underclocked but will also save you money. I will also show if you have other issues with your board at lower cost. If it is all good then you will have 8GB @ 1333 and whatever timings the mobo picks for it( wont know till you do it). Before buying it try the one 4GB stick and set your bios to 1333 does it boot the one stick at that speed when it is in the slot closest to the cpu?

Maybe I'm a little slow, But everything I have seen here says you have 6 GB of ram installed. As I am reading this, , I'm a little confused. Exactly what is it you want? Tou have 6 GB installed and everything says 6 GB,

There is a big difference in the amount of ram installed and the amount of ram available. The useable amount is always less than what is installed. It takes some of the ram to run Windows, most processes use resources to run, still some hardware has to have ram reserved for when/if it needs it. What's left is useable.

    Your Performance shows the breakdown

You will have to translate the page, but I know what most of them are/ if you notice the bottom of the page it says 6144MB installed as it is supposed to. the rest of it is simply how Windows has distributed the ram. So, I'm really unsure of what you want. No matter how much ram you have installed, it will never show that much useable. I have 16GB of ram installed, and I have like 12.8 GB useable.

He has 6GB of non matching sticks( not really an issue) but if that pic you linked it shows that 2GB is reserved for the system like for onboard video but he has a dedicated pci-e card so he should not have the reservation and he wants to remove it.

As you pointed out rvcjew 2 gb of ram for hardware is way to high.
I normally see this when ram is mismatched or not installed as per motherboard manual.
Normally I see numbers in 10 to 80 MB on other computers.
