USB Ports are not reading (no drivers installed)

Im currently experiencing this issue with my HP Probook 6470b, none of the usb ports are currently reading any device I plug in. I opened Device Manager and truoubleshooted the devices but I keep receiving a no driver found for this device error code 43. I installed a Driver Took Kit and updated all drivers but this is not helping. Any suggestions would be helpful.

    Hi welcome to 7F

go to hp support site and download and install the chip set drivers. see if that helps Drivers & Software for HP ProBook 6470b Notebook PC - HP Support Center.

Well; try this: if there are any devices that are installed in the device manager; uninstall them; then reboot; and see if windows will detect them and install the drivers for them. if that does not do anything; post back.

Be more specific: Does this happen only with USB Mass Storage devices (such as USB memory sticks and external USB drives) or also with mouse/keyboard? Do your USB mouse / keyboard continue to work fine?
