strange things going on with my HDD
I have an attached USB HDD (Seagate Expansion Desk 2TB) which I have assigned to M:
It has data on it, but when I try to browse it in file explorer, it shows up completely empty. Sometimes if I reboot the machine, all the files show up. Sometimes it's blank again. If I go to PROPERTIES, it says the drive has 700GB of used space with 1.13TB free. It also says it is NTFS (which is correct).
If I try running chkdsk on it, then chkdsk claims
So I don't know what is going on. Any clues on how to get this working properly would be appreciated.Code:M:\>chkdsk /x /f /r The type of the file system is RAW. Cannot lock current drive. CHKDSK is not available for RAW drives.
