Usb 3.0 not recognised even with correct drivers.

I recently did a fresh install of windows and proceeded to install all needed drivers both with the Intel and gigabyte website and the remaining with a driver scanner
The problem I am having is although there is definitely power going to my usb 3 ports, they are not getting recognised nor can windows find the drivers.
Before installing the standalone driver I get usb bus connection as yellow triangle error 29 I think and with the USB driver (tried multiple different sources and sites) I get USB 3.0 extensible driver with yellow triangle and error code 10
I have searched the ven and dev codes for the correct drivers but nothing seems to work
Any help is greatly appreciated thank you
