Usb port for mouse not working

Im facing the same problem,I asked about someone and he inform me
That you must un plugin the usb and plug in back
Then Shutdown the system and restart the pc and wait about for some minutes and plugin it back to see if it works,

I havent try that yet,i will try it (i try even that doesnt work....If i reinstall windows will i still have the problem or will dissapear,im asking because i have few programs at my pc)
but is there any other way to solve this problem,
I was about to update the driver for my mouse Through device manager and instead of it,i click disabled, and most of my usb ports are now trash i can only use 1 port for my mouse.....
Im waiting an expert oppinion
