thanks for all your input :), ended up with a very superb CM Storm Quickfire TK mechanical keyboard - blue switch ....... that was called on a lot of sites CHERRY MX switches ?? bit miss leading but got my blue clicky blue numerals and blue back light in the end

Verdict love it best keyboard I ever had totally different experience just want to keep typing for know apparent reason, I mean like this morning I woke up and had a pot of tea, walked down the shops bought the papers walk back again, ...... there I go again sorry , if I have any gripes so far, its I have keyboard on lowest light setting and still a bit bright in dark room, cant see a use for other 4 brighter settings ?

even as good as this keyboard is the novel isn't that good so far

I knew you would like a mechanical Keyboard. I really don't like keyboards with all the lights, but each to his/her own.

In a dark room I use one of these on my keyboards. Just plug it into the usb port on the keyboard.
