    Mouse pointer acting bananas

Seriously. It feels like my mouse pointer is sliding on wet ice with banana shoes!! it's really unresponsive and randomly stops responding for a period of a second or so (Have to tap the mouse upon desk to get it to behave right. Or wait a little.) What could be causing this? Previous mouse was only 5$ and was responsive and accurate as a gaming mouse that could cost over 50$
Compared to this. This mouse is like 10$ but it acts like it's worth 5 cents. Brand new. Bought today. 6 button e-SOURCE mouse

does anyone know a possible solution other than buying a new mouse?

It does seem like there is a fault with it. I would take it back to where you bought it & demand a new one, or a refund & buy a different brand.

There isn't any problems with the drivers? They get installed just fine. The mouse just doesn't work very well. it does work but just not very well

What brand of mouse is it?. Is it wired in or is it a wireless mouse?.
Have you loaded any software that came with it & if so have you made adjustments to its operation?.

Also use the Mouse settings accessible through Control Panel.

It was wireless but i have got yet another mouse this time it's wired and seems to work fine (A bit jerky but thats probably just my hands) At least 8 times better accuracy Definitely a problem with the mouse
Sticking with this new mouse from now on.

The mouse was an e-SOURCE mouse and there is no extended software for it (No drivers other than basic usb HID composite device) Enhance pointer precision is already off set to the middle speed setting

Solved by buying a new mouse for just 5$ less than previous one. lol
