Computer keeps saying SD card is locked when it is not

I have this problem before and it went away but now it is back.It does this on every SD card.I checked to make sure that it is not locked and none of them are locked but Windows keeps saying The disk is write protected. But when I try it on a friend's computer, it works perfectly fine.

Could be a hardware problem. Are you able to try an external card reader instead of the built in one

Flash drives work fine.I'm not sure if it will work with a USB SD card adapter.I'll have to buy one.

If that's the case, the dust on your SD Slot may have caused corrosion. Try using some cleaning agent that is safe for electronics devices. You should also buy SD Card adapter, you may not want to use your SD slot bcoz it can cause complications on some of your on board adapters.
