No beep from motherboard on startup

    Just so you know - I have Fast Boot enabled on my board (P9X79-PRO) and I get a beep.

    I also have the BIOS code LED. One small nag is that it is useless with the case side on. But we know it is only used during diagnostics so that is why it is a small nag.

    Being old school (or just old) I need that reassuring POST beep to start my session. It is just engrained into my brain!

Beep sound when windows startup

There will have a very strong and loud beep sound nonstop when enter windows. However when this beep sound appears, my laptop will not able to enter windows. I have to force shut down and restart and again until no beep sound so that able to enter windows. What is the problem?
Hi all, I need your advice. Is my harddisk failing? This problems started many months ago. On and off. 1. It started with display driver crash and restart on recovery when visiting youtube website. It lead to bsod if you continue using without restarting. Next it detect hd6950 as 6800...

Frozen and loud beep on startup

Started up my laptop this morning everything was fine. Went to turn it back on and it crashed and froze on startup (Windows logo) Ran it in whatever prompt it told me to, did its self-repair job (seemed to do the trick) Things are functioning normally. If i recall, my battery was very low...
