Using 7.88 out of 8 sounds OK to me.
I'm using 4.013 out of 4.096. The remaining 83 MB is hardware reserved.

Most likely a portion of the RAM is being used by the integrated video in your computer. This is not unusual. Of course without your hardware specs it is impossible to be certain.

It`s nothing to worry about, you have no control over it.
The system does what it does
It`s that dam Master Control Program, it`s eating up all the compute cycles
