    Do you get a message to press any key to boot from the CD ? There is no option for this. Usually there is but in this case for some strange reason its not an option.

    And i did burn the iso straight to cd without extracting anything.

    To me it sounds like you did not burn the bootable disc correctly.

    If you did as Jumanji suggested with this, what do you see ?

    I just want to ask you whether you are able to get into onetime boot menu by hitting the appropriate key as soon as your system starts booting.

    I can press etc and get these options in the pic below.

    I also remember seeing a different screen with a menu.. Remember seeing something written about uefi. If I see it again will show it.

    UEFI is different.
    I have Legacy Bios, so my experience may not help

    Ok then i can ignore the uefi screen that i did see once.

    Apart from that, if im not getting the option press "any key to boot from cd" then i must have gone wrong somewhere like you mentioned.

    Ok I tried to go into seafood again in windows and it worked surprisingly.
