Most likely. However, 'cause I'm not familiar with that Intel technology -- better get another opinion. Hope you have restorable or clonable backup image[s] on some external device[s].

We can not know if it appears or does not appear in the bios. Does it ?

You have 2 drives showing in the bios, a Corsair SSD and a 1 TB Samsung hard drive. How many drives should be showing up ?

If it worked yesterday and doesn`t work today you`ll have to check it on another machine to know for sure it`s dead.

Try looking at Computer Management > Disk Management, you should see that HDD Disk #, right click on its Disk #, choose Online.

C: drive died
I built a SB running Win 7 Home and the Samsung 103SJ decided to go on a long vacation. Luckily I had a Seagate Barracuda 1TB ST31000524AS brand new at home and took out the Samsung and did a reinstall. Now I am left with an error message that comes up on boot and it is to do with a driver...

Today XP Died
Today I finally decided that it was time for XP to go away. For some reason I have been attempting to make myself believe it was still a necessary OS, albeit it just wasn't happening. With the ability to run Vista in a VM, along with a copy of Win 7 32 bit it just didn't make a bit of sense to...
