Ronald if you need a big fan blowing on a desktop you have a case air circulation problem.

I noticed this in your system specs. Why do you have so many anti virus programs on one system at one time?

Antivirus Avast, Avira, CIS - scheduled scans

Layback bear, yes, the den gets quite stuffy and warm from time to time.
And, only Avast AV real time shields are on, Avira and CIS only run nonoverlapping scheduled scans.

    Heat issues?

    Well for my own laptop:

Cleaning the fan and vents helps. I've even replaced the fan recently. As for what makes it hot - I suppose it depends upon what's actually running.

In the past I've used TThrottle in order to regulate temperature and prevent overheating. It does need to be configured though if you don't want performance issues when running data intensive applications.

Simple settings are - set core temperature and let the program handle the rest.

    TThrottle Manual

It would be better to sort out your software issues.

Laptops get hotter and hotter until they melt

Clean it out with compressed air and use a chill mat.

Sometimes you need to go inside a laptop to clean it properly.
If you don't feel good about doing such a thing. You need to find a shop that can do that for you.

I have to agree. I've had to take many apart because people tend to set them on beds, couches etc and they will suck up a wad of junk that compressed air want move.
