Most significant field in HDD Benchmarks

I am hesitant between two choices, my decision will be based on the overall performance of the HDD
    The two options are:

    1-
    Read - Write
    Seq. 100 - 99
    Rand 43 - 58
    Rand 0.6 - 1.5
    Rand 0.7 - 1.4

    2-
    Read - Wire
    Seq. 35 - 30
    Rand 34 - 31
    Rand 6 -8
    Rand 6.5 - 8

Which one should I expect better performance of?
The use of the PC will be based on normal operational, rare huge files transfers.. but general office apps and some other apps and internet browsing, music, videos... etc

    the Rands are respectively;
    512K
    4K
    4K QD32

    What's Rand?

    What's "Read - Wire"?

    What's QD32?

What benchmarking application are you using to get those figures?

What's the brand, model, and size of the 2 hard drives in question?

    Really, Wire ??

The higher the read number the better.

Member WHS can tell you all about it, he knows his numbers
