As Jack and WG have said...... Just use Velcro.
You have the wrong side facing up, you shouldn`t see the screw holes.
I just love how Crucial puts their label on the side facing down, what`s up with them

OK turned it over. I can't see any advantage to that?. 2 holes show on the (now) bottom thru the adapter.
Remember the original question was if any body used this type adapter and if so how did you do it. I am trying to mount the ssd in that tray using that adapter. (Velcro is another option but then I wouldn't need the adapter.)
Another user (pbcopter)posted a shot from ebay showing a drive in the adapter, looks like the holes are showing in that pic also?. Not sure if that is an SSD though. Notice the pins do face the handle
and wiring connections there present a problem.

I agree you have the ssd upside down and ass ended too it would seem to me
Is the handle not to pull the ssd out and reinsert it From the front of the machine or side
This one does not glow in the dark though

meebers. No screws are required as it mentions in the specs (see below). As this adapter acts like a draw & can be slid in & out you could attach the leads to the SSD, drop it into the adapter & slide it home.

Yes very true, but for some reason, the design has side rails, meaning to me that its intent was to slide into a receptor of some sort of which there isn't any.
Trashzone, the adapter has little "nipples" that grab the ssd when mounted, (threaded holes) this makes the pins point towards the handle. 180 rotation they do not align. The mounting holes are not evenly spaced front to back on the ssd. Removing the whole thing with the handle (as I think you should be able to do) requires disconnecting 2 plugs, power and sata right up front vrs the back. The whole thing is backwards for what I am trying to do. And the non glow in the dark adapter is 33x the price of "agent orange"

You are not supposed to be able to see the connector pins from the top of the ssd.
I have 4 different brand ssd`s and my Crucial M550 is the only one that is totally wrong like that. Good thing I didn`t pay for it :)
Thrash is also right, the handle and the connectors should be on opposite ends.
Unless of course your are connecting you`re drives at what we consider the front of the pc case, if that`s so, then just cut the handle off, out of your way. It won`t fall apart :)

Agree, just noticed that there are tabs at the non handle end to keep the ssd in place. If I turn it around, one of those tabs partially blocks the power connector. So, pins towards the now non existent handle and facing the back of the tray. Sometimes when you get "stuff" and it is not quite right and you start "re-engineering it", there is a good chance it will make the trash before long
