Have i got a xeon not Ivy?.

Hi. On CPUz it does say I have a Intel Core I7 3770k Ivy bridge. Why does it say in device manager I have a

    System devices

Xeon Processor E3-1200 v2/3rd Gen Core Processor DRAM Controller - 0150
Xeon Processor E3-1200 v2/3rd Gen Core Processor PCI Express Root Port - 0151

Also in IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers in device manager it says.

Intel 7 series/C216 Chipset Family SATA AHCI Controller.

    Under processors it does say.

    Intel Core I7-3770K CPU @3.50GHz
    Intel Core I7-3770K CPU @3.50GHz
    Intel Core I7-3770K CPU @3.50GHz
    Intel Core I7-3770K CPU @3.50GHz
    Intel Core I7-3770K CPU @3.50GHz
    Intel Core I7-3770K CPU @3.50GHz
    Intel Core I7-3770K CPU @3.50GHz
    Intel Core I7-3770K CPU @3.50GHz

Im more bothered about it saying its a xeon when its an I7. Could this be the reason why my PC is slower then I would like?.

I have a system with an i7 3770 (not the K version) but I get the identical listing as yours.

My motherboard is also a Z77 chipset. ASRock Z77 Professional Fatal1ty.

I doubt it, the i7-3770 is still an excellent CPU.
