Yes, the second part of the screenshot (Removal Policy) will only show up if the drive is removable. So if a fixed hard disk is (incorrectly) flagged as removable then you would have those settings. If it is properly installed (having a correct SATA AHCI driver) then the settings do not apply.

The bottom box is unchecked on mine because it is an SSD. My spinners have it checked. (BTW- all the spinners also have no Removal Policy) Buffer Flushing is not recommended for SSD's, at least according to Samsung.

We have seen this issue quite a few times on the forum and installing a compatible AHCI driver solves it.
Windows 7 comes with a generic AHCI driver that will give you most of the AHCI functionality, but it does not seem to recognize hard drives manufactured after the driver date as internal hard drives.
Similarly, any AHCI SATA driver included in the chipset drivers that is older than a drive will also tend to mis-flag it.

IIRC, my P6T had a standalone AHCI/RAID driver offered. I have not seen that on newer motherboards. They just offer the IRST driver if it is an intel chipset.
I'm not familiar with how AMD does it, but they must have a similar driver if they have employed AHCI capabilities into their SATA controllers.

Bottom line is the system needs a driver that can tell it the hot-swappable hard drive is not a removable drive like a USB stick.

It is confusing. These drivers are not just for RAID. It is also most likely the AHCI driver.

EDIT: you don't need to run a RAID to install the driver.

I don`t understand why you`re having that issue with a brand new board.

You installed all the chipset drivers from the cd, correct ? I think I remember you telling me you did.

I would call EVGA, they have excellent support.

It's an Intel X99 chipset.

He has installed all drivers for the motherboard except the RAID driver.
