    wacom tablet not working =x

It works on my admin account, but not on this one...I'm guessing the driver can't start up on this standard account? Is there a way to change this?

What model tablet are you using? I have the one listed in my specs (see below) and that works perfectly for me. In fact, I had to resort to using it for a while when the left mouse button failed (I have since got a new mouse).

I have an intous 3, I don't see it in your specs...

anyway, it was working fine at first. I decided to create a new account and make that one the admin, since I'm using this one and its supposed to be more secure to be on a standard account. I changed this account from admin to standard type which is probably why its not working anymore. I didn't want to start over on a new account and have to reinstall all my programs and settings again...

    Hello jepherz,

I never used a tablet before, but I just try to help you.

Is it possible for you to un-install the software from the tablet device?

Next try to install the tablet-software using the account you prefer to use.

I hope this works for you!

    Best regards,

couldnt get on my computer for a few days...

i tried uninstalling before through control panel>remove program thing. It just keeps trying to start up or something, and I can't quit it through task manager... you can see the mouse cursor keep changing from normal to the green glowing ring thing over and over again...

Fix to wacom tablet not working

The blue light on my wacom was on, but neither the mouse nor the pen were responding. (win 7 x64) The only thing I had to do is remove my tablet preferences: Start Menu > All Programs > Pen Tablet > Pen Tablet Preference File Utility (click the "Remove" button). That was it. Problem solved ! Hope this works for you

    thank you,

i've been having the same problems with my wacom graphire 2, and have been resorting to restarting my win 7 pro x64 comp afew times and it used to sort itself out. but for the last few days it hasn't, tried to restart the wacom tablet/pen services with no change and i've had to plug in a usb mouse.

    this way worked a treat.
