    I followed what the tutorial said to do. However, I do have one other problem. Windows 10 Technical Preview keeps saying it's ready to install. I am not going to install. I will wait for Windows 10. Do you know how I can get the alert off?

    That comes with a recent Windows Update.
    You can uninstall the offending updates and then hide them when they come back to haunt you afterward.

    Well, it wasn't doing this until I downloaded the technical preview upgrade process from Microsoft. Because, I was going to try it out and then I backed out. Do you know how I can remove the alert?

    If it is not from the Windows Update - no.
    I have not downloaded the tech preview - don't know about that.

    No. All I have is the Windows 7 Home Premium ISO and Windows 7 System Repair Disks.
