    Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit + Windows 10 pro 64bit duel boot

    Scandisk


    SCANDISK keeps running every other time I start up win 7 ultimate 64 bit ....... why ? it never finds anything wrong ? what could be causing this any ideas ? this version of windows is from a reflect saved file but was ok when I saved it

    Open an elevated command prompt and type in fsutil dirty query c: (with C: being the drive in question) and hit enter. Post back the results.

    I did this for all drives and all report not dirty I have five drives main drive win 7 ssd, win 8 2.5 sata, storage drive two 1t sata raid 1, usb 3 external drive, small 100mb drive think holds boot disk for seven but is empty in explorer, one other empty drive could disconnect don't really use but fort system might use

    no cant say I have had an issue with a gaming mouse but its dead now but was just on its way out bar that had a yellow triangle on router but only in win 7 not 8 tp-link said to ignore

    It's strange that chkdsk is running at every boot, have you tried reloading the Macrium image?

    its not every boot but more than every other boot good idea doing the Macrium again but updated loads since the Macriumm, new programs win updates ect could save now try reload see if it persist, still have the old one what u think

    Make a new image now and reinstall that one first. If it persists try the earlier one, if there's no joy at least you have a current image to load back up.
