Plastic bags around computer case

I kind of have a habit of throwing various plastic bags next to the right side of my computer before throwing it away into a trash can. Can the plastic bags create static electricity that can damage the parts inside? Or does the case protect it from this happening?

The bags shouldn't cause any static electricity. However, if there are air holes that are being blocked, that could be a problem.

No, I always throw them away before using my computer. I don't actually use the computer when I sit there most of the time. And, the right side doesn't even have a vent.

Computer Case help?
Hello everyone, I'm looking to buy a new computer case tomorrow for my PC because I'm getting worried by all the clutter. Everything is too close for comfort. Lol. Now I've heard that the most "scary", or worrisome, thing is taking out the mobo itself because of the static and all. Um, I'm in need...

Ziplock Bags For Electronic Devices?
I see that most of the ziplock bags in the stores are supposed to be for food.. I was wondering if there are any ziplock bags meant to store or protect electronic devices, like cell phones, and other hand-held devices. Thanks.
