Black screen after install 8 GB RAM

    Black screen after install 8 GB RAM


    i change my old RAM(2G) to (8G)
    and it black screen

    yesterday(8 or 9 day) i scan my computer on one website to buy a new RAM
    and the result your computer maximum RAM capacity is 8GB. i search on my domain shopping website to buy a new RAM.

    my spec
    Intel I5-2410M 2.30Hz
    Nvidia GT 520M
    Mother board intel hm65
      My Computer

    Can you see and get into the bios when you turn on the PC ?

    or do you see nothing but black ?

    Did you get the same type and speed memory ?

    Could you please tell us the exact make and model of the PC, Thank You

    Not sure then, the specs say it will handle 2 4GB sticks.

    DDR3 1333 MHz SDRAM, 2 x SO-DIMM socket for expansion up to 8 G SDRAM

    Try re seating them.

    32-bit Windows can't see 8GB of RAM - only the first 4GB.
    It may be this which is causing the problem.
    Does each stick of RAM work OK in each slot, on its own?
    Use MemTest to check out the RAM.
