Advice on a Gaming Laptop
Hi guys i'm helping a friend out who lives in Canada. She doesn't know much about laptops but i'm afraid my knowledge on laptops is not very good either.
This is the first option
Newegg.com - ASUS G Series G51Vx-X3A NoteBook Intel Core 2 Duo P8700(2.53GHz) 15.6" 4GB Memory 320GB HDD 7200rpm DVD Super Multi NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260M - Laptops / Notebooks
Is the cpu and the gpu good in that one?
This is the second option
Newegg.com - ASUS N51 Series N51Vn-X1A NoteBook Intel Core 2 Duo P8700(2.53GHz) 15.6" 4GB Memory 320GB HDD 7200rpm DVD Super Multi NVIDIA GeForce GT 240M - Laptops / Notebooks
this has just about everything the same except the video card which is a GT 260M.
This is the third option
Newegg.com - ASUS N51 Series N51Vn-X1A NoteBook Intel Core 2 Duo P8700(2.53GHz) 15.6" 4GB Memory 320GB HDD 7200rpm DVD Super Multi NVIDIA GeForce GT 240M - Laptops / Notebooks
This comes again with a GT 240M but with a quad CPU now.
Firstly is it worth getting a quad cpu if its 500 mhz lower then the dual core one?
The other thing, is there a huge difference in the performance between the GT 240M and the GT 260M?
If you guys could recommend anything else or one of these that would be awesome!
Thanks!
Budget around $1000
