Reads/Writes all over the place with Samsung 840 EVO 250G SSD?

    Hey everyone,

I would like to know if the results that i'm getting from testing my SSD with HD tune are normal...they seem to be all over the place. For the longest time I've had this weird stuttering problem with some games (not all) that I've been playing, And I was wondering if it was due to my SSD.

Let me know what you all think.

    Thanks!

Downloaded and ran Samsung magician, used their optimization tools and the results on HD tune seem to be a bit better.

Seems to be way more stable than it was before apart from the beginning, what do you guys think?

    Thanks!

    850 Pro, looks like this:

I guess this is old news now, but check Samsung 840 EVO read speed drops on old-written data in the drive

No idea, did you run the test again? Does it improve?

It improved, but there's always that dip at the beginning, but stays stable the rest of the way, no idea if that's normal in my case.
