Changed hard drive letter - software won't work

So i have microsoft office installed on a secondary drive, and changed the letter of the drive.

Now the software won't work properly (and windows update for office fails).

I suspect many other software are not working also due to this issue, is there a simple way to fix this or will i have to re-install the software that isn't working correctly?

    Hello thefollower,

The easiest way to fix this would be to change the drive letter back to what it was before.

You can`t change the drive letter on a drive that you`ve installed a program to, only a data drive`s letter can be changed without problems.

Microsoft Office is now scrambling around looking for it`s program folder on a drive that it can`t find because you changed the letter. Why would you do that ?

All your programs should be installed on the C partition.

You can`t make a proper disk image if you don`t.
