BSOD 116 and restart shutdown?.

    No just on board. But just been to NVidia foum and other people are experiencing same thing. I also heard that they NVidia are fixing the TDR crashes in games and in next driver update they say it will be fixed. So I hope this does have something to do with driver. Apart from app crash on board video is fine.

    A Code 12 can occur if two devices that are installed on your PC have been assigned the same I/O ports, the same interrupt, or the same Direct Memory Access channel (either by the BIOS, the operating system, or both). This error message can also appear if the BIOS did not allocate enough resources to the device.

    It may be you need to clear the CMOS by popping out the BIOS battery for a couple of minutes then reinserting it. Before doing that, check for the conflicting device in Device Manager and try disabling it.

    It may also be worth trying this; uninstall the GPU via Device Manager, physically remove it from the PC and boot using the onboard graphics. Then replace the GPU and perform a clean install of the latest driver.
