    Saitek Gamer's Keyboard Induces Sleep

First, great site. Glad I found it.

As the title pretty much says it all, this problem has me baffled.

I have been using this keyboard for well over 4 years on both XP & Vista x32 with no problems at all. I use it primarily because of the Command Pad for gaming as it easily maps hotbars. WoW mostly.
As soon as I installed (clean) 7 x64, than plugged this keyboard in, my system goes into sleep mode! I downloaded the latest x64 drivers from Saitek's site, and the same thing, it goes to sleep.
So, I decided lets try it on a clean install of Vista x64. Same thing. It goes to sleep. For all the troubleshooting I have done, I can only conclude that there is something with x64's that cause this. But why?

Does anyone, anyone at all, have an idea why this would happen and or how I can fix this most puzzling issue, as I am lost with out this keyboard?

And for the record, I have, for one full week now, been trying to get registered on Saitek's Official forums to ask this same question with no luck. They seem a nightmare with trying to get support. I am still waiting for an emailed response from them as well.

    TIA

    Fixed! Woot!

A simple BIOS flashing fixed this issue. I upgraded from verion 1603 to 2209. Everthing is stable and running as intended.
