    can you have 3 drives connected to one SATA power cable?


    hello;

    I have an ssd and hdd already connected to one sata power cable and was wondering if I can connect a third (ssd)?

    I'm sure my psu can handle it!? but I just need some reassurance it can

    Yes, if the cable has 3 or even 4 sata power connectors on it, you can use them all, the PSU puts out more power when it has to.

    Your Corsair power supply should be able to handle anything you plug into it's cables.
    Example:
    If the power cable has 4 outlet power connection you can use all 4 of them if you so desire.

    Corsair or any other quality branded power supply manufacture will not give you cables or connections that can't be used together safely.
