Mouse cursor always stuck at screen everyday without giving warnings.

Good morning everyone! Could someone please tell me why are my mouse cursor always stop responding
(stuck) at the screen everyday? Besides that, I realized that the red light at the below of the mouse turn off, blinking and turn on. Apart from that, I updated HID-compliant mouse driver and Microsoft PS/2 mouse driver, Windows said that both have the latest drivers. Weirdly, I saw an exclamation mark symbol beside the Microsoft PS/2 mouse driver. You should provide also solution for that weird problem. In addition, I used to buy new mouse but these problems still exist. Anyway, I am using Acer optical USB mouse. I bought my Acer Aspire M3800 computer since 2009.

if you use a wireless mouse, check the batteries before doing anything else, wireless mice tend to run out of power without warning.

In addition to what Hacb suggested, I would try another USB port and also try the mouse on another PC.

Like I said on my previous post, I'm using optical USB mouse. Besides that, I used to test my mouse at another USB ports of mine and also on my friends PC. Both show failed results.

If it is failing on 2 different PCs, I would say it is time to get a new one.
