Unable to use keyboard and mouse on Windows 7

After installing windows 10, I'm unable to use my keyboard and mouse after the logo screen in windows 7. Everything works fine in the BIOS, but as so as that loading screen for Windows 7 comes up, the lights on the keyboard go off, and I cant use either the mouse or keyboard.
Everything is fine when I go back to windows 10. I thought I would try repairing Windows 7. but the same thing happens after windows load the files, cant even get past the first screen.

Did you try going into Safe Mode? What happens if you re-plug the keyboard/mouse at welcome screen (login)?

I have to have the keyboard and mouse plugged in to select Windows 7. I have tried unplugging after I select which OS I want to use, but that didnt help.

Can you open F8 menu (Advanced Boot Options)? Try Last Known Good Configuration if so.
